Perspective: War, Like Death, is an Inevitability. Tucker’s Sudden Shift from That Truth

While we are not fond of either, their visitation is a certainty. We do everything we can to hold them at bay, but their manifestation is as predictable as the moon, sun, stars, rotation of the earth and birth.

The worst thing we can do in preparation is not to prepare for both. Hoping, yearning, stomping your feet and renaming or redefining the protagonists engaged in either as a vain attempt to hold them off simply rushes their arrival and diminishes our ability to not succumb to them faster.

Tucker Carlson’s equation regarding War is infantile and unrealistic. He has decided to redefine the core beliefs of a known enemy (without consulting with them), turned on an ally and decided that any effort, even kinetic, to preserve the US is not only fraught with error but entirely immoral. As it pertains to this current war, he surely seems to argue that Iran is the victim of the USA’s unwarranted aggression.

This comes on the heels of his curious new epiphany that the Moslem states in the Middle East are docile friends with no underlying hostile intentions toward us. Coincidentally, he seems to have also decided that Israel’s existence is illegitimate and hostile, that any relationship with them is unilaterally opportunistic in their desire to conquer and expand by swallowing up territory, even though no one would be able to provide a single example of Israel under the Israelites or the modern return of those in dispersion seeking to or expanding beyond the land promised them in Gen 15:18-21.

So, he has decided that Islam = good/benign + Israel = bad/hostile ∴ USA/Israel Alliance = bad. Aside from his lack of understanding of the players on the field of battle I expect based on his established presupposition that religion(s) are all equal and benign, he further seems to think that all war is bad, equal, and that Israel in some as yet explained way has managed to neuter the USA and is using us without our knowing it.

He apparently has never considered the possibility that our two foci could be diverse and yet mutually supportive, i.e., Israel is taking care of Israel and the USA is taking care of the USA.

Tucker was in fifth grade when the Iranians ousted the secular government in favor of the ideologically poisonous theocrats led by Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini in 1979 during which they also sacked the American Embassy, taking civilian and Marine hostages after the Peanut Farmer posing as an American President ordered the Marine Security Guard to stand down. They were held for 444 days before an actual President threatened their destruction unless they released them. He was just entering ninth grade when the Marine Barracks in Beirut was hit, killing 241 U.S. and 58 French military personnel and six civilians. Two hundred twenty of those were fellow Marines.

Since then, through proxies or direct assault the Mullahs have killed an additional 2,000 Americans and thousands of Israelis while leaving an equal number with catastrophic wounds.

But Tucker apparently believes that after 47 years of continual harassment, bombings, kidnappings, death, mutilation, interference with free passage of shipping, non-stop threats, and ideologically fueled belief in the allah-ordered annihilation of both Israel and the Great Satan (USA), that “diplomacy” and, apparently further tribute payments, vis a vis Obama/Biden, is the only acceptable interaction. Short of that, we ultimately have earned whatever punishment the Mullahs can conjure for us, to which I say, “NUTS!” (Gen. McAuliffe 1944)

Further debate with someone like him is a waste of time; however, an actual thought-out public response with real data might cut into his passive-aggressive, historically false, retching rhetorical bait designed to do what all conspiracy theorists use it for, including floating questions, absurd possible counter-narratives, denigrating everyone supplying answers, overwriting long-established history and ignoring or rewriting religious teachings which ironically would put the ideological sword to the nape of his kuffar neck for insulting the holy quran, allah and his prophet mo, were he to do that in Azadi Square.

To his suggestion that Israel should never have existed and that its goal is to expand territorially, I will include a timeline of conquest for the Holy Land itself. Like every other square inch of land surface on the earth, “ownership” has been fleeting. Only those with the means and the will have ever held onto their nations, and that has been only until someone stronger and more determined comes along.

Like it or not, the current State of Israel has existed for the past 78 years and will continue as long as its people continue to desire it so:

1973: In Yom Kippur War against Egypt and Syria, Israel makes further territorial gains.

1979: Israel and Egypt sign peace treaty; Israel agrees to return Sinai to Egypt.

Conjuring a definition of legitimacy just to assuage some underlying hatred or even self-loathing is not only a sign of a certifiable mental malady, but also entirely destructive to everyone around you. Tucker’s claims of illegitimacy for the current attack on Iran and his redefining of good/evil is, I suspect, born of frustration, boredom, seeking to create and/or to feed a following. However, what it is actually doing is further alienating an already fractured “Conservative” bloc which will only benefit the monolithic Left and give aid and comfort to a 1,400-year-old enemy of civilization that has already aimed its guns at us. This is not about following blindly; questioning is for personal illumination, not a tool to surreptitiously sway those who never research.

Tucker, it’s time to make a choice between notoriety and your country. We Marines have made clear where we stand, and hundreds have been killed and mutilated at the hands of the demonically possessed theocrats in Iran, crimes for which they have never been held to account until now! The Dems, whether out of greed and avarice, to gain or maintain power, sheer ignorance or worse, in complicit sedition have been undermining US hegemony, sovereignty, security and well-being since 1945. And Tucker, the evidence indicates that you have thrown in with them.

Say it ain’t so…

Unapologetically America First; Perspective on Pete Hegseth’s Remarks 03/02/2026

Even while early polls suggest a certain trepidation by the Citizenry over this campaign against the Islamist Regime in Iran, the vast majority of Americans support the concept of an America First agenda. The majority of the War Fighting community was energized by Pete’s speech not the debrief on the battle to date but his comments about putting the final nails in the coffin lid housing the astoundingly anti-American, 80 year, Democrat initiated concept of an endless series of protracted wars with crippling ROE’s, denials of Air Support, concerns for enemy combatants and civilians in the battle space over an even insincere public display of a minimal concern for the benefit of our War Fighters; no intention of winning, no victory, no resolution.

Hegseth, speaking for himself and for President Trump and for those of us who have been in Battle and for those of us who have lost loved ones in this 80 year demonic experiment yielding a series of money-making endless Counter Insurgency/Police Actions/Self-Limiting Wars which has done nothing but embolden the enemy, fill the pockets of degenerate politicians and soulless profiteers, assuage the feelings of feckless, unaffected and misplaced concern Leftists and those dripping with disdain for their Country.

That has now ended.

War is not something societies evolve away from. War is as much an inevitability as is Death. Pretending otherwise is for Sci-Fi authors, screen writers and those living in a constant state of dreams. War is a natural consequence of the failure of civil discourse between an aggrieved party and an incalcitrant abuser. Within a civilized society it is resolved in a Court of Law. Between Nations, it is resolved on the Battlefield IF, both sides commit. COIN, was one belligerent telling the other they could win by attrition. Since 1945, that uncommitted belligerent has been us. The fruit of that unforgivable stance has been enrichment of those who supply war materiel, the politicians who speak for them in Congress, the Democrat Party who, speaking on behalf of the Nation, abdicated our Sovereign Duty to defend these shores while minimizing the loss of American War Fighter’s lives and with it our very Sovereignty.

Korea, Vietnam, the Tehran Embassy, the Barracks in Beirut, Bosnia, Somalia, the Cairo Embassy, Benghazi, Afghanistan and more; all under or because of  the failure of Democrat Leadership. American War Fighter’s lives lost, 100,000 and close to a 1,000,000 with catastrophic, life altering injuries, double that with PTSD and 10’s of thousands to related suicide.

NBC’s Richard Engle showed his true colors once again as a feckless, hand-wringing, globalist, never-for-America-first mouthpiece by decrying the attack on Iran in part by marginalizing the “past grievances” in part fueling this Campaign in which the demonically possessed Theocratic, Twelver Regime has racked up a body count of some 2,000 American deaths directly or through proxies; deaths unanswered by every President from Carter to Biden… until Trump.

Like President Jefferson before him (1801 Barbary Pirates), President Trump has said, no more! The world’s leaders had decided to placate/reward the Moslem Corsairs, operating out of Tripoli and for 300 years who attacked shipping, seizing cargo, enslaving crews, selling women to the Ottomans as sex slaves, by paying them ransom and protectionism rather than holding them accountable to the Sword and Cannon. Obama, the morally compromised tool, caught between his oathbound duty to his Office and his competing unquenchable love for the Moslem and Biden the mentally compromised, decided to follow the lead of those reprobate world leaders before Jefferson by loading cargo planes with pallets of currency, prostrating themselves before the Iranian, Theocratic  Regime’s throne, lifting sanctions and ceding the battlespace that the Ayatollahs had created.

Trump, like Jefferson, has ended that much to the chagrin of the political elite and that half of the citizenry who cannot let go of their hatred of one man long enough to discover some shred of abandoned, unique love for their country. I do not expect them to find any love for the War Fighting community. Having lived through the 60’s and having witnessed the quick devolution of the anti-war movement to an unforgivable, insatiable hatred for returning Marines, Soldiers, Airmen, Sailors and Coasties, juxtaposed along side the likes of Omar, Talib, Engle, Maddow, Reid and the thousands who take to the streets flying foreign flags and oozing hatred for the Nation and my fellow War Fighters, I have learned to expect no more or less.

As all wars before and the ones to come, this Operation was inevitable. What wasn’t inevitable or even plausible given the past 47 years was the likelihood of a President who would live up to his Oath, determine to undo the uniquely democrat travesty of 1945 and to make the USA a primary focus again and to put all enemy States back on their heels not to be subservient, but simply to be non-threats.

…until President Donald j Trump and Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth!

Is this Iranian Revolution Truly Hopeful:

Given:

99% of the Iranian population is Islamic.

93% of those are Shiite, Twelvers like the Mullah's.

Twelvers believe they are the chosen generation, jump-starting end time events and thus making way for the advent of the Mahdi and Isa by striking blows against Israel and the Great Satan, the USA.

1953, the USA and MI6 launched a covert operation to overthrow the sitting Prime Minister and install Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi. The concern was the growing influence of the Soviet Union over the sitting Regime and their intent to move oil to a state run asset.

1979, the Iranian Revolution, a popular action, was to overthrow the Shah Monarchy and by popular demand, to establish an Islamic Republic under Ayatollah Khomeini. During the Revolution, rioters sacked the US Embassy in Tehran, November 4th 1979 and took 66 US Citizens, holding them until January 20th 1981.

Sitting Democrat President Jimmy Carter ordered the Marine Corps Embassy guard to stand down and not resist. He ordered one catastrophically failed attempt to rescue those hostages on April 25, 1980. Republican Candidate Ronald Reagan threatened the Theocratic Regime, that if they failed to release the hostages he would order a Military strike on January 21st 1981, one day after being sworn in, should he win the election.

Democrats cry foul.

The hostages are released January 20th 1979.

The point being, what we are witnessing today is a grand case of buyers remorse. And we should not expect the Islamic, Shiite, Twelver population to suddenly become US allies or to change from their ideologically driven desire to see the "Great Satan" destroyed.

Any quenching of the ideological fire should be expected to be short lived.

Semper Fi;
